Common questions about payments and how they work
How much do I get paid?
CDIG members will receive a minimum of $25 per survey and a minimum of $40 an hour for virtual/in-person insight sessions.
How do I get paid?
You will receive an email from Tremendous (our payment vendor). In that email you will have your payment link that will allow you to select your payment type. Please note, time it takes to receive funds can vary based on how you prefer to receive your payment.
I received the tremendous email but I am having an issue with my funds?
Please reach out to help@tremendous.com directly for payment issues. Their response time is usually between 2-4 hours.
I didn't receive my payment after my insight session, when will I get paid?
We aim to process payments daily, however, it can take up to 2-4 days. If you don't receive your payment, please wait at least 2 days before emailing cdig@garycommunity.org. We are probably in the process of making your payment.
Does the money I earn count as income?
Payments from CDIG are gifts of gratitude for your time and your voice. We do not issue tax forms for payments under $600 per year, and we do not report those payments. We'll always let you know if you're getting close to that threshold. As with any financial question, we encourage you to consult a tax professional if you have questions about your personal situation. This is not tax or legal advice.
After I select my payment method, how long does it take to receive the money?
Digital gift card - same day • Physical gift cards - take 1-3 weeks • Direct Deposit (ACH) - 2-4 days • Paypal - Same day • Venmo - Same day • All other gift cards - Same Day
Do I need to create an account with Tremendous to receive money?
No. You do not need to create an account.
Do I need to have my bank information?
Depends. If you select direct deposit, you will need to input your bank information every time since they do not save your information
